Sarah May Taylor (she/her) is a Los Angeles based artist whose practice involves representations of the female body, mother archetypes, grief, death and the role of memory as they intersect with notions of race, class, belonging and identity. She uses her work to ask questions about the ways personal narratives can serve as forms of resistance and healing.

Taylor received a BFA from Ontario College of Art and Design (OCADU) in Sculpture and Installation in 2020. She is currently completing her MFA in Art at The California Institute of the Arts.
